Ministry Emphasis

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

My primary goal is to bless pastors, churches, and individual believers through preaching, teaching, singing and prayer.

I try to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and bring a word that is relevant to the particular congregation at that time. I believe the Bible is the verbally inspired, inerrant written Word of God. Scripture is able to make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, however, Scripture itself testifies that one of the fundamental differences between the Old and New Covenants is that we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. Romans 7:6

Because of this fact, I try to encourage believers to become more acquainted with the Holy Spirit themselves so they can learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and be led by the Spirit in their daily lives. I understand that this introduces a risk of ignorant and unstable people distorting the Scriptures to their own destruction, so I always include instruction that supports and reinforces the authority of the pastoral office in the local congregation (i.e. a Spirit-led believer will not create division or insurrection in a local church)
